Kevin Garcia-Galindo of the Carolina Journal interviews the two announced candidates for the 2024 Libertarian nomination for governor, Shannon Bray and Mike Ross. If both go on to file for office in December, the Libertarian Party of North Carolina will have their first gubernatorial primary election of the 21st Century.

    Actually, Shannon Bray has run for US Senate in NC twice; in 2020 and 2022. He has never run for US House.

    His 2020 run set an all-time record for the most votes statewide for a Libertarian candidate ever (172 thousand). He had approaching twice as many votes as the margin of victory by Thom Tillis over Cal Cunningham (96 thousand).
